The Latest and Greatest!

Reading Class
Maggie and Allie are in college. They are both taking a 5 week Reading class at IPFW on Sunday mornings. (The only time it was offered for their age group). They really love it, after 2 weeks, they have learned a couple letters of the alphabet and have heard (read) 3 books in class. Homework has been assigned each week too, which is on a CD and DVD. They like to read, before they go to sleep, in their beds at night. They get that from their mommy!!
Little League
Jeff has been busy umpiring Little League Softball again this summer. He was appointed to umpire in Wyoming, MI (Grand Rapids), the Big League Softball Central Region Tournament in August. So this year's vacation will be in Michigan. The girls love watching daddy's games. It's usually the only fans Jeff has at the games as an umpire.
Housemom??
Amanda recently was hired by a local church to be their financial director, so she is working 2 days a week for 8 hours a week taking care of the church's books. She is really enjoying the "adult" conversations for a change. She is also help her dad with some consulting, at Indiana Stamp Company, on a new product line that ISC is hoping to tap into. Scrapbooking and Stamping stamps. These are not your ordinary stamps, these are interchangeable Monogram stamps w/ borders and other adjustable stamps that can be used by scrapbookers and homemade card stampers. Both of these opportunities are right up her alley and she is loving every minute of it.

Lake Gage

Mimi and Papa Beaver remodeled their lake cottage this past winter and it looks great. More rooms and a bedroom for ALL the grandkids. The pictures were purposely taken in Black & White, since all the photos inside the cottage are B&W. I'll get some newer ones when the landscaping is finished later this month (June). Everybody really enjoys the changes.

Swim Lessons

The girls took swim lessons again at the YMCA on DuPont Road. They really enjoy the pool and swimming, which is a good thing since they love going up to Mimi & Papa's lake.
