Maggie's 6th Birthday

Maggie turned 6 on March 14th. She went on a field trip at preschool to Science Central. She had a great time. Her birthday party with her family is on Saturday, 17th. Her grandparents from Nebraska drove to Fort Wayne for the weekend. Allie and Maggie are alway excited to see them. Grandma & grandpa Horner and Mimi and Grandpa Beaver are coming over Sat for her Birthday lunch, sausage roll, yummy! Her aunts and uncles are coming over Sat afternoon for cake and ice cream. We'll post pictures later.

The Latest at our house

We've been to the Emergency room 2 times in the last two days...on Sunday, Jeff was installing our new garbage disposal and was using scissors to make a hole in the instruction book to hang it under the sink and sliced a chunk of his left index finger off. A piece of skin approximately 1/4" x 1/2" x 3/32" thick. Because it wouldn't stop bleeding, we went to the emergency room to take care of the bleeding issue. He now has a piece of surgifoam on the tip of his finger with a splint wrapped to protect it. Sure makes typing tough and a temporary "Farmers Wave" when he drives...

Then on Monday, Allie, Maggie and Wyatt were playing in their room, supposedly making a slide out of Allie's bed....and Allie hit her upper lip on the headboard and cut open her lip. So we went to the emergency room again, coincidentally the same room too. She didn't need stitches, but she does have a fat lip.

Hopefully no more hospital visits by our family for the rest of the year.....
